Reaching accross the devide
When a dispute arises between individual owners of units and a body corporate in a sectional title scheme, the first important step towards resolving the dispute should be negotiation. Or so say the experts.
It sounds so nice, polite and sterile when one thinks of sectional title problems as “declared disputes”. But, in reality, there usually is at least one party that is thoroughly pissed at the other by the time anyone starts thinking of negotiating to resolve a sectional title dispute.
Why would pissed off people negotiate? What is this negotiation thing and how does it work exactly? All valid questions that we’ll discuss here. Get the rest of Resolving Sectional Title Disputes Through Negotiation »

Commission cash
Everyone wants to pay as little real estate commission as possible, because more money in your pocket means a better house when you buy, or a bigger deposit to make your offer to purchase more attractive, or smaller monthly payments on a smaller mortgage loan, or better curtains for the new home, or a million other things, really. And every real estate agent wants to get paid as much commission as possible, because that is their livelihood – their bread and butter, their lunch money, the food from their children’s mouths… and their Mercedes Benz payments.
So how much commission should be paid? Delve into How much commission? »

What Real Estate Agents Can Do

Useful things, realtors!
Real estate agents render a valuable service to property consumers. Real estate agents offer clients the advantage of relevant knowledge, experience, skill, contacts and resources to meet their real estate needs as effectively as possible.
In return for those services, realtors expect to be paid. Real Estate companies are in business to make money and real estate agents assist buyers when there is a possibility that they can earn a commission. (If a realtor claims not to be in it for the money, there is always the possibility that it may be true. So, try negotiating a lower commission and then make up your own mind.)
But what exactly can real estate agents do? If everyone had to believe some of the claims real estate agents make in an effort to secure business, they might mix, mash, grate, chop, juice and polish the car!
In this article, I intend to spell out what real estate agents can and can’t do for you. Delve into What Real Estate Agents Can Do »
