    Both the transfer duty and bond registration calculators are very useful.

    does the buyer pay for both bond registration and transfer duty?

    @Segolego M: It is the buyer who wants the mortgage bond, so the buyer pays for bond registration. It is the buyer who wants ownership of the property, so the buyer pays for the transfer of ownership of the property in the deeds office.
