@Wendy : The important thing is that you say they “contractually agreed”. If they don’t stick to the agreement, you can sue take steps to remedy the breach of contract. I think you should be speaking to your OWN attorney right about now.

@Segolego M: It is the buyer who wants the mortgage bond, so the buyer pays for bond registration. It is the buyer who wants ownership of the property, so the buyer pays for the transfer of ownership of the property in the deeds office.
